As a copywriter at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners I had the pleasure of working with the creative team of Justin & Dustin to promote the launch of Google Drive (excuse the anachronistic logos on the previous page, but the old Google logo just seems off now). To highlight the collaborative capabilities of Google Docs, we channeled the voices of Charles Dickens, Emily Dickinson, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Friedrich Nietzsche, Edgar Allan Poe, and William Shakespeare to act as co-collaborators.  This required quite a bit of brushing up on the authors' works (or, more often, reading for the first time - better late than never!). While not every inclusion made the final cut, the end product is for the most part cogent and pretty fun to play with. Watch the promotional video below and write something: gweb-docs-bots-demo.appspot.com/

In 2013 the project was awarded with a Gold CLIO
